First of all, I am an illustrator, so my main focus is painting custom artwork for your book cover, plus I'll do all typography preparation work (text layout, fonts, simple ornaments etc.).But if you already have your own art or just want a text-only cover, it's totally fine too! The familiar: a cat, a coup, an extra eye
Project Brief
◦ Genre: Occult Fantasy / Cozy Magic / Funny Adventure◦ Audience: Young Adult / New Adult (Ages 16–25+).◦ The Vibe: Witchy, cozy, and comedic but with a dark occult twist.◦ What I Did: Character design, full splash screen style cover illustration from scratch with a complex perspective, and custom typography.◦ Main Focus: I really wanted to create a narrative-driven world, not just a character. The goal was to place the mystical familiar with its three eyes and glowing magic at the center of a dynamic chase sequence. I focused on making the background as rich and detailed as the cat itself, so the viewer can find a new story every time they look at it.
